Mr.Ogunbote, Oluwamuyiwa Babajide joined the services of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Pasture and Range Management, College of Animal Science and Livestock Production on March 14, 2023. He obtained his B. Agric. and M. Agric. degrees from the University in 2014 and 2021 and currently on his Ph. D Programme.His research interests are focused on a variety of
areas which include, pasture agronomy, cultivation and evaluation of plants with forage potential, ForageConservation and their utilization.He has teaching experience in pasture production and management, pasture measurement and evaluation, forage conservation and quality, and postgraduate seminars. He has also contributed to university committees and student academic development at FUNAAB and currently assisting in the advising of 500 level students. Mr.Ogunbote has attended training on Ethical Boundaries of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Doctoral Research organized by the Doctoral Academy of Nigeria in 2026 and Accelerating Quality Academic delivery in the Nigerian University System for Sustainable Development Goals organised by Quality Control and Assurance unit, FUNAAB in 2025. Mr.Ogunbote is a Registered Animal Scientist and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science, Animal Science Association of Nigeria, and Society for Grassland Research and Development in Nigeria. He has to his credit seven (7) journal publications in both reputable international and local journals.
