Short Profile

Dr Ogunjobi, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Forestry and Wildlife Management,He is an enthusiastic person with a broad range of interests. A reliable, punctual and organized individual who is self-motivated and has great determination to succeed. An excellent communicator and a good team player who is focused on problem – solving. He has been involved in teaching, research, and extension services in the areas of Forestry and allied disciplines. His research focus is on forest utilization and protection. Aside other very important administrative responsibilities, his teaching cut across a range of courses such as Introduction to Forestry and Wildlife Management, Wood Anatomy, Harvesting, Processing and Utilization of Wood, Forest Operations and Timber Quality Control. He has also been involved in plantation establishment and management. He is committed to the Forestry profession and is currently the Chairman of Forestry Association of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter. To him, teaching is a ministry and seeing the students excelling gives inspiration for more commitment. He believes in contributing to the emergence of a total man.
