OGUNTOKE, Olusegun 

Short Profile

OGUNTOKE, Olusegun is a Professor of Environment and Health Geography in the Department of
Environmental Management and Toxicology, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. He holds a
Ph.D. in Medical Geography from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (2002). He had his Post-Doctoral
training at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa from 2011–2014, He was Head of Department
(2014–2016) and Deputy Dean (2017–2019). His research thrust is environmental quality assessment
and human health. He has successfully supervised 7 Ph.D. and 15 MSc. candidates. He was appointed a
full Professor of Environment and Health Geography in 2020. He has taught full-time for more than 20
years. His research focus includes Environmental Health, Spatial Epidemiology, Environmental Impact
Assessment, Air and Noise studies, Solid Waste Management, and Environmental Policy.
