OJESOLA, Cecilia Olubunmi, is a Technologist at the Biotechnology Centre, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. Her area of research is Plant Tissue Culture and Genetic Transformation. Mrs. Ojesola was born in Ebute Meta, Lagos State on the 9th of July, 1973 and hails from Oyo town in Oyo State, Nigeria. She obtained her Higher National Diploma and Bachelor of Science Degree in 1999 and 2015 respectively from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. She began her Technologist career at Sacred Heart Hospital, Lantoro, Abeokuta as a Microbiologist/Microscopist in charge of the Tuberculosis unit. She later joined the services of the Biotechnology Centre, Federal University of Agriculture, in 2010 as a technologist II at the Plant/Micro Biotechnology Laboratory until May, 2014 when she was transferred to Plant Tissue Culture and Genetic Transformation Laboratory of the same centre. She is a member of Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology. She attended the 8th Euro Biotechnology Conference held in Frankfurt, Germany, between 18th and 20th August, 2015.
