Mr. Olajide is a seasoned professional with over a decade of expertise in the fields of Public Relations, Media and Communications. He currently holds the position of Assistant Director, Media. His impressive career trajectory includes a recent secondment as the Personal Assistant to the Sixth Substantive Vice-Chancellor of FUNAAB, Professor Felix Kolawole Salako, FSSSN, FASN where he served in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor from 2018 to 2023.
In his multifaceted role, Mr. Olajide takes on several key responsibilities. He excels as an event anchor, both within the university campus and on external platforms. Additionally, he is a prolific writer, contributing newsworthy content for the University's Weekly Bulletin, and he also supervises its production, both hard and soft. He is currently responsible for managing the Official University Telegram Platform, FUNAAB ECHO, as well as the FUNAAB Bulletin on WhatsApp. Notably, between 2011 and 2016, his remarkable multitasking abilities were instrumental in page planning and designing the University's Weekly Bulletin.
Mr. Olajide's professional affiliations and contributions underscore his commitment to the field. He is an Associate Member of the esteemed Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (ANIPR), with certificate number 150294, and has previously served as the General Secretary of the Institute's Ogun State Chapter. His dedication to professional development is evident in his participation in numerous NIPR conferences, with a commitment to continuous learning and growth. Additionally, he is proficient in French.
His passion lies in harnessing the potential of Digital Media as a powerful public relations tool. He recognizes its capacity to rapidly disseminate accurate and firsthand information, serving to positively enhance the image of individuals, organisations, places, and businesses, among other aspects. Mr. Olajide's career reflects his unwavering dedication to the art of effective communication and PR in this modern age.
