Dr. Ayorinde Joseph Olanipekun earned a B.Eng. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Ado-Ekiti, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria (now called Ekiti State University) in 2000. He also holds Ph.D. and M.Eng. degrees in Electronics and Control Systems Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Nigeria, awarded in 2023 and 2013 respectively. Dr. Olanipekun has a strong academic and professional background, with diverse experiences in the field. He briefly worked as a tutor with the Teaching Service Commission, Ondo State, Nigeria, from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, he served as a Laboratory Technologist and Scientist in the Electrical and Electronics laboratory at FUNAAB from 2008 to 2017 before transitioning into academia in 2017. His expertise lies in electronics and control system design and application, software programming, and the development of solar-powered control systems. Dr. Olanipekun is currently a dedicated faculty member at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria.
Professionally, Dr. Olanipekun is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE); the Nigeria Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineer (NIEEE) among others. He is a Fellow of TETfund Alliance for Innovative Research (TETFAIR), and has to his credit both local and international journal articles and referred conference proceedings.
