I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, where I graduated with Second Class Upper Division, and a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Power Systems and Machines from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Power Systems and Machines at the same institution, with research interests in power-system stability, FACTS devices, renewable-energy integration, and grid optimization. My academic and professional work focuses on developing practical solutions to improve power-system reliability and expand access to sustainable electricity.
I am a Registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), the Nigeria Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (NIEEE), and the Nigeria Institution of Facilities Engineering and Management (NIFEngM). I am also a passionate teacher and mentor who enjoys simplifying complex engineering concepts, supporting students in research, and connecting academic theory with practical applications.
Together with my co-authors, I have published nine articles in reputable journals, including studies on transient-stability improvement using Static Synchronous Compensators. I have presented my research at national and international conferences, including the International Conference and Exhibition on Power and Telecommunications (ICEPT), the 3rd and 4th FUNAAB College of Engineering International Conferences, and the 7th FUTA Engineering Conference. In 2025, I received the Best Paper Presenter Award at the 21st ICEPT, held in Osogbo, Osun State.
My practical experience includes leading renewable-energy projects such as an 85-kWp solar mini-grid in Gbamu-Gbamu and a 100-kWp solar installation in Olooji. As a mid-level consultant on the World Bank-sponsored Ogun State Economic Transformation Project, I oversee the deployment, installation, and commissioning of solar-powered agricultural facilities across Ogun State. I have also served as Secretary of the Ogun State Energy Working Group. Through this blend of scholarship, engineering practice, leadership, and community service, I contribute to teaching, research, innovation, and sustainable development at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
