Oluboba Oluwole Olubunmi was born on May 11, 1982, in Ikole-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He attended elementary school at St. Peter's Catholic Primary School in Ikole-Ekiti, followed by
secondary education at Egbeoba High School in Ikole-Ekiti from 1992 to 1995 and Government Secondary School in Oye, Ekiti State, from 1995 to 1998. He completed his Senior Secondary
Certificate in 2001.
For his tertiary education, Oluboba attended the University of Ado-Ekiti (now Ekiti State University) from 2003 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in
Mechanical Engineering in 2009. He pursued postgraduate studies at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, from 2011 to 2014, earning a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in
Mechanical Engineering (Production) in 2014.
Oluboba began his career serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Government Day Secondary School, Jabo, Sokoto State, from 2009 to 2010. He subsequently gained industry and educational experience as a Graduate Trainee at Ire Clay Limited (2012–2013), Mechanical Supervisor at Alfe Works International (2014–2015), Mathematics Subject Tutor and Exam Officer at Penny International College (2015–2020), and Store/Facility Personnel at Opes Manus Resources Limited (2020–2025). He has also served as a WAEC and NECO examiner, holds leadership roles in church youth ministry, and enjoys sports, documentaries, and movies. Since October 13, 2025, Oluboba has served as a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at FUNAAB, engaging in teaching, research, and community service. At FUNAAB, he serves as Secretary of the OBE/COREN Accreditation Committee of the Mechanical Engineering Department and as a member of the College of Engineering Board.
