Dr. Segun D. Owoeye is a Lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State.  He attended University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria (Now Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti) where he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in 2003 and 2011 respectively. He also obtained PhD degree in Banking and Finance from AdekunleAjasin University, Akungba-Akoko in 2019. He is a member of Chartered Institute of Loans and Risk Management of Nigeria and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

Dr. Segun Owoeye started his academic career at AdekunleAjasin University, Akungba-Akoko as an Adjunct Lecturer in 2012. He worked briefly in Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti in 2013 before joining the services of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta in 2014 as An Assistant Lecturer. Currently, he is a lecture I in the Department of Banking and Finance.

Dr. Owoeye worked assiduously as a pioneering staff and has served meritoriously as the Departmental Examination Officer for two terms. He has also participated in various internal and external training programmes for his personal development. He has published in reputable journals. His areas of interest are Corporate Finance and Investment.
