OYEWUSI Joshua Adeoye 

Short Profile

Dr. Oyewusi, Joshua Adeoye obtained his first degree (DVM), MSc (Veterinary Pharmacology) and Ph.D
(Veterinary Pharmacology) in 1995, 2009 and 2018, respectively from University of Ibadan. He worked
as a contractor staff in the security dog section, Shell Pet. Development Company, Warri; as a Resident
Veterinary Surgeon attached to Gan-Rovet Nig. Ltd., Warri, Delta state (1995-1997). He practiced as a
private Small Animal Clinician at Alpha Veterinary Clinic and Surgery, Ilorin, Kwara state (1997-2008).
He joined the FUNAAB Veterinary Teaching Hospital as a Veterinary officer (2008) and rose to the
position of Principal Veterinary Officer I (2017). The Lecturing career of Dr. Oyewusi started in 2013 as
an adjunct lecturer before he got appointed as a Lecturer I in the Department of Veterinary Physiology
and Pharmacology, COLVET, FUNAAB. He is currently a Senior Lecturer and Ag. Head of Department.
He served in various committees both within and outside the COLVET, FUNAAB. He has attended
several professional conferences both home and abroad during which he presented some his research
outcomes thus contributing to scientific knowledge.
Dr. Oyewusi is a pastor in Deeper Life Bible Church. He love the company of the youth which influenced
his decision to pastor the youth at district and group of district levels at Deeper Life Bible Church, Warri
and Ilorin, respectively (1995-2006). He is happily married with two children.
