Dr.

SOYINKA Ajibola Taiwo

Short Profile

Soyinka Ajibola T. is currently a lecturer at the Department of Statistics, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria (FUNAAB). Taiwo got his PhD (Statistics) at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria in 2019 on “Theory and Applications of Order Statistics from Exponential Power Distribution”. He has interest in using mathematical and statistical techniques in the robust explanation of medical problems. This he has demonstrated with some of his publications, in the area of Distribution Theory, Statistical Inference with its Applications in modeling medical problems, being recognized and given publicity by highly rated peer reviewed Journals.

Before Dr. Soyinka joined FUNAAB in 18-12-2017, he was a Senior Research Officer at the Federal Neuro-psychiatric Hospital Aro (FNPH-Aro). He was in FNPH-Aro between 01-04-2009 and 15-12-2017. During this period, he worked closely with medical and para-medical professionals. Dr. Soyinka has collaborated-works published in rated Journal(s) and also published an important work on sample size calculation in clinical trials: which is a problem in medical research. He has presented papers in both local and international conferences.

Dr. Soyinka is a member of Nigerian Statistical Association.

He is married with children.
