Adewale Matthew Taiwo, Male, Married, hails from Ogun State. He holds a Bachelor of
Environmental Management and Toxicology (First Class Honours) and a Master of Environmental
Management and Protection (Distinction) from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta
(FUNAAB). He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Health and Risk Management from the
University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. He also obtained a certificate in Talent Pool
(Innovation and Consultancy, 2013).
His research interests include environmental media such as soil, sediments, dust, water, air, food,
pollution studies, risk assessment (pollution, ecological, and health), and climate change. Dr. Taiwo
is motivated by innovation, creativity, and success. He has over one hundred scholarly publications
in reputable journals. He is ranked among Nigeria's top 500 authors according to the SciVal
Authors Ranking (2020–2023). He is also listed among the World's Top 2% Scientists (Nigerian
Extract) for 2021–2023. He supervised over sixty undergraduate projects, 48 Master's dissertations
(as sole, major, and co-supervisor), and five Ph.D. theses (as co-supervisor). Dr. Taiwo has
authored five books, including "The Sting of Ignorance," "The Generalissimo of Bagudu,"
"Scientific Writing and Research Methodology," "Realities of Love," and "Knockout Depression''.

Dr. Taiwo served as a resource person for Nitok Consulting Ltd. for Project Management Training
in Lokoja, Kogi State, in 2008 and at the Lagos State School of Health, Yaba, in 2021. Dr. Taiwo

environmental degradation in various media outlets, including the Federal University of
