WILLIAMS Tolulope Julius 

Short Profile

Tolulope Julius Williams was born on Friday 26th July, 1968 at Epe (Lagos State) to Mr. Christopher Ayodele Williams (former Minister of Lands and Housing under AG administration) and Mrs. Abosede Leah Williams (Nee Bankole). He had his primary education at Saint Michael Anglican Primary School Epe, from 1975-1981. He proceeded to Alaro Community High School for his secondary education from 1981-1986. Thereafter, he went to Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu (now Lagos State University of Science and Technology) where he obtained Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in General Agriculture in 1989. He later proceeded to the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and bagged his first degree, Second Class Upper Division in Animal Production and Health in 1995. He had his Master degree in Animal Science from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan in 2002. In 2003, he came back to the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta for his PhD and completed it in January, 2009. He worked briefly at Zartech Farms (1996-2000) and Samboye Farms (2000-2002) both in Ibadan before joining the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as an Assistant Lecturer in January 2nd, 2008. He rose through the ranks and became a Professor in Animal Lactation and Growth Physiology in May 23, 2023. He got married to Mrs. Oluwatoyin Oluwafunke Williams (Nee Akinloye) in September 9, 1995. The marriage is blessed with four children. Tolulope Julius Williams is an ordained minister of the gospel. He is the Pastor in charge of the New Covenant Church, Jankata Centre, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
