The FUNAAB Gender Policy Drafting Committee (FGPDC) of the University would hold its Stakeholders’ Workshop on the FUNAAB Gender Policy, from Thursday, January 29 to Friday, January 30, 2015 at the International Scholars’ and Resource Centre (IS&RC).
The Chairperson of FGPDC, Professor Grace Sokoya, stated that the workshop would draw participants from the drafting committee, two facilitators, two representatives from each staff Union and one nominee each from the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Registry, Security Unit, FUNAAB Legal Office, legal consultant and representatives from two sister institutions, where the Gender Policy is operational.
Professor Sokoya enjoined members of the University Community to collect copies of the sensitisation brochure and car stickers from the Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) Directorate. Thereafter, they are to submit their comments and inputs to FGPDC on or before Monday, January 12, 2015.
