A rare scenario played out recently when an outgoing Part-Time student of the Department of Microbiology, College of Biological Sciences (COLBIOS), Mr. Gbadamosi Paul Oluwaseun walked into the Directorate of Sports to sign his clearance form before leaving the University and ended up lifting the Directorate with a donation of N20,000.00.

It started like a child’s play when upon entering the Directorate to sign his clearance, he met a very friendly staff, Mr. Oladayo Atanda and a discussion ensued about the need to support his alma mater which prompted Gbadamosi to donate the sum of N20,000.00 to support the Directorate, promising to do more and also to bring in his employer PZ Cussons to partner with and support the sporting Directorate of the University in any capacity.

The Ag. Director who was pleasantly surprised was full of praise and thanks to the student for his uncommon gesture, which he said he has not witnessed in his twenty years of service in the University, promising to take the news to Management.
