As part of measures seeking solutions to the rising unemployment and its attendant social crisis in the country, students of the Agricultural Extension and Rural Development Students’ Association (AERUDSA) of the University is organizing a symposium, to tackle the challenges.

According to a release, jointly signed by the Association’s President, Mr. Hammed Ayotunde and General Secretary, Mr. Awokoya Joshua, the symposium was organized, to address the consequence of unemployment, which has led to phenomenal rise in crime rate across the country.

The Symposium, with the theme, “Nigerian Youth and Job Creation: Prospects and Challenges”, comes up between March 23 and 24, 2011.
