The University of Nigeria Alumni Association (UNAA) would on Saturday, April 20, 2024 honour the immediate past Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Felix Kolawole Salako with an Award of Excellence in Leadership Administration.
This is in recognition of Prof. Salako’s sterling qualities during his tenure as the Sixth Substantive Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).
The Award which would be formally conferred on him at the 109th National Executive Council (NEC) Meeting of the Association would be held at the Green Chamber of the University, by 10:00 a.m.
In a letter conveying the motive behind the Award, the National President, UNAA, Queen (Dr.) Mrs. Linda Agua-Onyekwelu and the Secretary, Mr. Tony Chukwu said Prof. Salako’s effective and efficient leadership in both public service, including human and capital resources management were noteworthy.
They also noted the high-ranking profile of FUNAAB during Prof. Salako’s administration, which, according to them, was an attestation of his superlative administrative prowess.
