DVC (Academic), Prof. Chryss Onwuka

Results of the completed batch of the on-going Second Semester, 2009/2010 Examination are ready and being processed for release.

Students of the University were assured that the release of the results would be timely as some of them would be conducted through the e-Examination format.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Chryss Onwuka gave the assurance during his assessment visits to Examination Centres and later in a chat with the UNAAB Bulletin.

Prof. Onwuka, who described the conduct of the on-going examination as unique, attributed its peculiarity to the fact that “the results are ready almost immediately after the exam, unlike previous ones where you manually marked the scripts for some weeks before results are ready”.

Professor Onwuka said the results would have been posted, but for the analogue part that required more careful processing.

Besides, he disclosed that the University also successfully designed measures to ensure that students who were indisposed and on admission at the University’s Health Centre were able to write their analogue and e-exams.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor commended the security devices and other logistic deployed for the smooth conduct of the examination.

He stressed that such include deployment of seven new buses for transportation of students to and from examination centres and creation of two Holding Areas for students clearance before final admission into the Examination Centres.
