The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Staff Co-operative Multipurpose Society Limited has ushered in a new era of leadership with the election of a fresh set of executive officers to pilot the affairs of the Society for the next two years.
The newly elected officers are Mr. Olufemi Owoade who has been re-elected as the President, while Arc. Adeniyi Folawewo was also re-elected as the Vice-President. The role of the Secretary is now being held by Mr. Sunday Adegbola, and Mr. Olufemi Fayemi returns as Treasurer.
In addition, seven individuals have been elected as Committee Members. These include Mr. John Odeogbola, Mr. Zaccheaus Oguntola, Mr. Fidelis Anyanwu and Mrs. Olabosede Takeet.
Others are Mr. Yusuf Balogun, Mrs. Adebola Akomolafe, and Mrs. Olusola Omotayo. Their collective experience and commitment are expected to contribute significantly to the success and growth of the Society.
The new leadership team is expected to build on the gains of past administrations and strengthen the cooperative’s commitment to members’ welfare, financial growth, and service delivery. Their tenure spans two years, during which they are anticipated to bring innovation, transparency, and inclusive participation to the Society’s operations.
Members of the Society in FUNAAB have expressed optimism that the newly elected executives would drive meaningful progress and uphold the cooperative’s values of trust, integrity, and collective advancement.
