A member of the Governing Council of the University, Dr. Solomon Olubanjo Oladiti has been appointed Commissioner for Industry, Applied Sciences and Technology by Governor Adebayo Alao Akala of Oyo State.
Also, the University’s former Director of Consult, Prof. Bola Okuneye was appointed Justice of Peace (JP) by the Federal Judicial Service Commission.
Dr. Oladiti who is a renowned educationist was sworn into office last Wednesday at the Oyo State Exco Chamber of the Governor’s Office by the State’s helmsman.
Dr. Oladiti replaced the former Commissioner for Education, Professor Taoheed Adedoja who had been appointed a Minister in the Federal Government’s cabinet.
In the same vein, the Federal Judicial Service Commission has appointed a former Director of Consult of the University, Professor Bola Okuneye, as Justice of Peace (JP).
He will be sworn-in today, Monday, November 15.
