A 2-day Pre-Retirement Plan Workshop for potential retirees of the University and their counterparts in sister establishments will commence on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at COLANIM Lecture Theatre.

A Release by the Board of Trustees for Pension Administration, said the focus of the Workshop will dwell on entrepreneurship and how to be gainfully engaged in a post-retirement life.

Resource Persons for the Workshop are expected from diverse organizations and sectors of the economy, such as the Small and Medium Scale Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), National Pension Commission (PENCOM), First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) and Bank of Industry (BoI).

The Workshop will expose participants to topics such as Setting up a viable project; Business Plan and Feasibility Study Preparation; Developments in the Pension Industry; Banking Facilities for Small and Medium Scale Businesses; Development and Management of Small and Medium Scale Industries; A Retiree in Successful Business, among others.
