Two students, Ayinla Lukman T. (06/1350) and Akinlabi Adeniyi (05/1475) of the Department of Statistics, have been expelled from the University, having both been found culpable of examination misconduct.
Consequent of the University Senate’s decision, at its 183rd Statutory Meeting, the two students were advised to surrender all University properties in their possession including their Identity Cards to the Dean of Student Affairs. The duo remains forbidden from further entry into the University, unless with a prior written approval. At the same meeting, Mr. Shopeyin Kolade S. (05/0574) of the Department of Soil Science and Land Management was rusticated for the 2nd Semester of 2009/2010 and the 1st Semester of 2010/2011 Academic Session. He was rusticated on an allegation of examination misconduct during the 2009/2010 1st Semester Examination. In a similar vein, Mr. Adeyemi Azeez (06/1333) of the Department of Mathematics has been suspended from the University. Mr. Adeyemi could not prove his innocence of allegations bothering on the University image as well as the safety of staff and students. |
