The Management of the University has approved the proposal of the ICT Resource Centre (ICTREC), for the acquisition of the famous, global Cheltenham Courseware, to further enhance its ICT training programme.
Given the immediate endorsement of the proposal and the attendant directive by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, for the Bursary Department to release funds, it is envisaged that the courseware would soon be delivered to the University.
Earlier, in his memo, the Director of ICTREC, Dr. Abayomi Oguntoye, expressed the optimism that the acquisition of the training pack will further distinguish the University as a leading resource centre for ICT training amongst the nation’s Universities.
