The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun has called on Kraft Foods (Cadbury) Nig. Plc, to partner with the University and in the process, enhance the performance of students and staff.
The Vice-Chancellor made this call when the Management team of Kraft Foods Nig. Plc, which included Dr. Ahmet Anbarci, Mrs. Reinette Van Den Berg and Mr. Jude Mordi, visited the Department of Food Science and Technology of the University, recently.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed optimism on the visit, reiterating hopes that steps would be taken to cement a mutual relationship that could pave way for execution of economically viable research programmes.
In his response, the leader of the team, Dr. Ahmet Anbarci, said the visit was to assess possible areas of collaboration and partnership between the company and the University, through its Department of Food Science and Technology.
