Mrs. Oluwalana attended the Conference as one of the pioneer Exhibitors and Conference Paper presenters and won the award through her efforts in projecting the uniqueness of a value-added herbal product.

The herbal products otherwise known as UNAAB Twin Beehive which she co-researched with her husband and Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Sam Oluwalana, were widely appreciated by visitors to the UNAAB Stand in London, Birmingham and Coventry, where it was exhibited.

The University, through Mrs. Oluwalana, was eventually awarded the International Exhibitor and Best Innovative Research Award at the Exhibition and Investment Conferences.

The Award Ceremony was witnessed by dignitaries who included the Acting Nigeria High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Ambassador Dozie Awanna (OON), the President, Nigeria/British Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Akinola Akintunde, among others.

Reacting to the Award, Mrs. Oluwalana gave glory to God and kudos to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, for creating an enabling atmosphere for researchers in the University.

She was equally appreciative of her husband, for his foresight and commitment to bettering the lots of humanity through research.
