The University is set to consolidate its exploits in e-Examination with the acquisition of an ultra-modern e-Exam Centre that can conveniently accommodate about 2,500 students, at once.

This fact was disclosed by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwafemi Olaiya Balogun, during the facility tour of the University by members of the Presidential Visitation Panel.

Professor Balogun further said that the completion of the Centre will reduce the stress faced by students, in moving from one centre to another, during examinations.

Briefing the Panel, the University’s Chairman of Time-Table and Examinations Committee, Dr. O.M.O Idowu, posited that the new system of Computer Based Technology (CBT) examination, had reduced malpractices, hitherto experienced, to the barest minimum.

In another development, the Vice-Chancellor expressed the optimism that the University will soon get the license to operate a Community Radio.

Professor Balogun who stated this as he led members of the Presidential Visitation Panel on a  facility tour of the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, said he was confident that the Minister of Information, Malam Labaran Maku, would assent the proposal for the issuance of the license to the University.
