Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate shall meet the following conditions:
A minimum of first degree or its equivalent in any discipline (additional qualification or degree in any finance or business related discipline may be an advantage) and a certificate in Microfinance Banking. Additional professional qualification(s) such as ACA, ACCA, ACIB or equivalent will be an advantage.
A minimum of 10 years experience in microfinance banking. The candidate must have held managerial positions in Microfinance Bank or its equivalent and at least 5 years must have been spent at a management level in a Banking environment and must have also acquired a minimum of 5 years experience in Credit Control & Management and Marketing before his/her present status.
Qualities:
Proficiency in the use of Banking Software is important. Such candidate must also possess demonstrable integrity and ability to drive a mission statement for the Bank and should have good analytical mind, a sound administrative acumen and a thorough understanding of Microfinance Banking environment.
Remuneration:
The remuneration package is attractive and negotiable depending on the qualification, experience and will be commensurate with remuneration in the industry.
