The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, has approved Monday, June 30, 2025, as the official kick-off date for the much-anticipated FUNAAB Staff Unity Games.
This was disclosed in a release signed by the Director of Sports, Dr. Samuel Olabanji, who also announced that a crucial pre-event meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, 2025. The meeting, which would hold at the Sports Centre by 10:00 a.m., is to be attended by all representatives of Colleges and Groups.
Dr. Olabanji stated that key issues to be discussed at the meeting include final preparations, football team draws, details of the opening ceremony, match past arrangements, and registration of players for indoor games.
