VC Bows Out of Office After a Five Year Tenure… Hands Over to an Ag. VC

The Sixth Substantive Vice-Chancellor, Professor Felix Kolawole Salako on Friday, October 28, 2022 handed over the role of the University, after a successful tenure of five years as enshrined in the University Act, Laws and Regulations to an Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babatunde Kehinde, the immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development.

The event took place on Friday because the Acting Vice-Chancellor would be leading a University delegation to an official function in Abuja on Monday, October 31, 2022, which marks the end of tenure of the Vice-Chancellor.

Professor Salako, Fellow of the Soil Science Society of Nigeria and the Agricultural Society of Nigeria, assumed duty as the Sixth Substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University on November 1, 2017.
