The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, has commended the Man O’ War FUNAAB Command for its continued support and commitment to upholding discipline and security within the University Community.

During a Courtesy Visit to his Office, the Vice-Chancellor who was represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Development, Prof. Kola Adebayo, emphasised the importance of guiding new members to adhere strictly to the association’s rules and regulations. He advised the leadership to formally document their activities and requests for Management’s consideration.

The Vice-Chancellor also encouraged the group to engage with the public to seek support and collaborate with the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Festus Adeosun for better coordination.

Additionally, he urged them to take up the initiative of planting trees along the boundary of their base as part of their self-driven development efforts.

In response, the Commandant of Man O’ War FUNAAB highlighted the need for support in acquiring a ceremonial sword and enhancing the organisation’s service delivery, particularly in terms of transportation.
