The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Felix Kolawole Salako in the company of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Clement Adeofun, have paid an unscheduled visit to the Livestock Processing Unit of the Directorate of University Farms (DUFARMS), to inspect the facilities at the Unit.
Professor Salako during the inspection, enjoined the members of staff of the Unit to effectively utilise the equipment, office spaces and human resources available at the Unit for better productivity.
The Vice-Chancellor, thereafter, admonished the staff members to take advantage of the various social media platforms to advertise the sales of live and dressed chickens at the Unit. He noted that the massive sales would, however, have a favourable effect on the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), drive of the University, imploring all University community members to patronise the outlets for wholesome and hygienically-processed chickens. Present at the inspection were the Director, Works & Services, Engr. Olawole Akinyele; Ag. Director, DUFARMS, Mr. Olumuyiwa Maraiyesa; Mr. Nurudeen Maku and Mrs. Olufikayo Obadimu, including staff members of the Vice-Chancellor’s Project Management Unit (PMU).
