WAFROEX, a leading multinational apiculture and agro-allied organisation powered by Goldswarm, has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing agricultural innovation and sustainability at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) with the donation of 100 new beehives and 25 stands to support apiculture development within the University.

Speaking during the presentation, WAFROEX Project Manager, Mr. Abdulrahman Shomala, stated that the donation aligned with the organisation’s mission to promote modern beekeeping practices and empower tertiary institutions to drive honey and by-product value chain development across West Africa.

This latest gesture adds to WAFROEX’s growing record of support to FUNAAB, which includes the establishment of demonstration apiaries and capacity-building workshops for staff and students. The partnership continues to stand as a model of effective university–industry collaboration, fostering innovation, skill development, and environmental sustainability.
