The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), through the West African Network on Organic Agriculture Research and Training (WANOART) will be hosting an Exchange Scholar from the Universite d’Abomey-Calavi, Benin Republic, Dr. Missiako Valentine Kindomihou.

A release by the Coordinator of WANOART, Professor Isaac Ayelaagbe, said Dr. Kindomihou would spend three weeks in the University during which time, he would be co-supervising his postgraduate student from the Universite d’Abomey-Calavi, Mrs. Koura Windktepe, who is currently researching on the Intesification of Indigenous Vegetables.

The release further stated that Dr. Kindomihou would be working on translating some Network documents into the French language while interacting with members of staff in the Departments of Horticulture, Pasture and Range Management as well as other Units in the University, to explore the possibilities of fostering inter-institutional collaborations.

Dr. Kindomihou, whose research focus is Carbon Sequestration and Biodiversity in Organic Crops-livestock Production Systems, is also expected deliver a Seminar, during the visit.
