Published On:

November 7, 2019

Christians in federal establishments have been charged to embrace unity in their various organisations. The General Coordinator, Federal Establishments Christian Fellowship, Ogun State, Mr. Gabriel Oyelami made the call at the joint monthly fellowship titled “Victory in Unity”, held at the Chapel of Grace of the University. On his part, the Chaplain, Chapel of Grace (FUNAAB), Prof. Christian Ikeobi enjoined Christians to see themselves as an embodiment of Christ and to accept unity as something good and pleasant.

He reiterated that where there is unity, there is an accomplishment and lack of unity among Christians is a sign of immaturity.  He stressed that fasting unto God would give victory and where there is unity; there abound blessing, joy, and peace. Enumerating the factors capable of causing disunity among Christians, the Chaplain identified them to include; party spirit, sectional affiliation, spiritual immaturity, leadership context, among others. He advised Christians to seek unity through genuine love, prayers, and sound Christian teachings.
