The University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (UNAAB) has again raised the bar of excellence in the latest World Universities Web Ranking by emerging 7th position in Nigeria.
The University competed favourably with other first generation Universities and took a step forward as it ranked 7th as against the 8th position released in the last Web ranking of World Universities in July, 2011.
According to the result of the ranking, University of Jos, University of Nigeria , Nsukka and Covenant University trailed UNAAB from behind with 8th, 9th and 10th position respectively.
The results further revealed Institutions on the list, to include Auchi Polytechnic; 11th position, National Open University of Nigeria; 12th Position and the University of Portharcourt; 13th position.
