As part of the preparation ahead of the 30th Convocation Ceremony of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), the University has gone all out to ensure that its visitors and general motorists are salvaged from the bumpy and damaged Camp road opposite the Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO), Camp.
Officers from the University, such as the Director, Works and Services, Engr. Oluwole Akinyele; Assistant Chief Environmental Officer, Mr. Bolarinwa Peters were seen directing affairs during the filling of the damaged portions with granite while the Deputy Registrar I (Academic Establishment), Mrs. Toyin Dawodu was spotted giving words of encouragement to the men at work.
Commuters and other drivers were seen praying for the Management of the University as the granite was being spread across the bad path of the road.
Aside from the camp road palliative, it is also worth noting that the University had also embarked on a temporal fixing of the FUNAAB-Alabata road which has also constituted a nightmare to most FUNAAB staff and other commercial motorists using the road.
