The new Acting Head, Directorate of Public Relations (DPR), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta(FUNAAB), Mr. Kola Adepoju has commended his predecessor in office, Dr.(Mrs.) Linda Onwuka for her sterling leadership qualities which he described as exemplary.

 Dr. (Mrs.) Linda Onwuka, has proceeded on accumulated leave to retirement after several years of meritorious service to the university.

Mr. Adepoju gave the commendation during his maiden meeting with the staff of the Directorate shortly after his assumption of office.

 According to him, “Dr. (Mrs.) Onwuka has laid a worthy precedence for all in the Directorate to follow”.

Mr. Adepoju described her as a woman of many parts, whose administrative acumen  has enhanced service delivery in the Directorate  and  other places she served within and outside the University.

Corroborating him, other members of staff of the Directorate acknowledged her motherly care and advisory role while in office.

 They also described her as a highly experienced Head of the Directorate who is firm and yet considerate .

Dr. (Mrs.) Linda Onwuka who was the pioneer Registrar, Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), had served in various official capacities in FUNAAB  which include immediate past Acting Registrar.
