The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babatunde Kehinde on Saturday, December 10, 2022, commissioned the World-Class Omu Resort inside the FUNAAB Zoo Park.
Speaking at the memorable event, the Acting Vice-Chancellor said it was a Public-Private Partnership Initiative between the University and Omu Resort, adding that the newly-commissioned Resort was suitable for family recreation, corporate bodies’ retreat, and tourism.
He noted that the Resort is home to the alluring FUNAAB Zoo, equipped with Amusement Rides, Swimming, and many more.
It would be recalled that the administration of the immediate past Vice-Chancellor, Professor Felix Kolawole Salako signed a Lease Agreement with Woodfields Farms Limited, owners of Omu Resorts, to establish an Amusement Centre inside FUNAAB Zoo Park.
