Making the donation, the President of the Association, Mr. Olusola Tobun noted that the Alumni body’s visit to the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Salako and the University Management was primarily to appreciate Professor Salako for delivering the Alumni’s 19th Annual Lecture Series during its 20th Annual Convention, held in January, this year.

In addition, the Alumni Association also appreciated the Vice-Chancellor with a “Thank You” Plaque for doing justice to the lecture and making out time to be with the Alumni members during its convention.

In a related development, the 500 Level Final Year Students Class of 2016/2017 Session of the Department of Animal Physiology, in the College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM) donated a Projector and its Screen to the Department.

The Head of the Department, Professor Olusiji Smith described the students’ gesture as magnanimous, encouraging others coming behind to emulate them by giving back to the society that moulds them.
