Board Chair Commends Staff School for Professionalism

The Chairman of the FUNAAB Schools’ Management Board and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Olukayode Akinyemi, has commended the management and staff of the FUNAAB Staff School for their dedication to professionalism and commitment to maintaining high standards in the previous sessions, as he welcomed them to a new academic session.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop held on September 11, 2024, to mark the beginning of the school year, Prof. Akinyemi appreciated the staff for their punctuality, and initiative to organise the workshop, saying that timeliness was an invaluable virtue in achieving success.

The workshop featured three Guest Lecturers, that were Dr. Ayo Ajayi from the Federal College of Education (FCE), Osiele, Abeokuta, who delivered an insightful discussion on “Striking a Balance between Work and Economic Situation Present in Nigeria to Prevent Burnout,” followed by Dr. Bosede Ajiboye, the University Librarian, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo State, who shared her expertise on “Effective Handling of Pupils’ Differences in Teaching and Learning Process,” and Dr. Seyi Anjorin, the Ag. Director, Health Services, FUNAAB, engaged the participants on “The Role of Teachers in Creating a Healthy School Environment.”

The workshop was engaging and served as a forerunner for service delivery for the Staff School Management and other staff members.
