The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) is inviting applications for its 2025 Academic Staff Training and Development (AST&D) Grants. The initiative is designed to support the academic advancement of staff members in Nigerian higher education institutions, including those in academic, technical, and technological fields.
According to a memo signed by the Director of the Directorate of Research, Innovations and Partnerships (DRIP), Prof. Mutiu Busari, the grant is specifically aimed at enabling eligible staff to pursue Masters and Doctoral degree programmes in selected Nigerian universities.
Interested applicants are required to submit the following documents as part of their application:
- Letter of admission for a higher degree programme
- Complete schedule of fees (covering tuition, accommodation, feeding, laboratory costs, etc.)
- Letter of confirmation of appointment
- Two (2) copies of duly completed Bond Forms
- Duly completed TETFund AST&D Nomination Form
- Recent Curriculum Vitae (CV) including email address and telephone number(s)
- Photocopies of all academic credentials
All applications should be addressed to the Vice-Chancellor through the Director, DRIP, and submitted to the Directorate within six (6) weeks of this announcement, on or before May 28, 2025.
