As part of efforts at realising the mandates of the University; teaching, research and extension services, the ‘Nimbe Adedipe Library has made provisions for a 12-room carrel that is; study rooms, for the use of researchers and postgraduate students, who may require some privacy in the course of carrying out their research work.

According to the University Librarian, Dr. Mulikat Salaam, the carrels would be made available on first come, first serve basis. Interested persons are advised to book by completing a form at the Office of the Readers’ Services Librarian, ‘Nimbe Adedipe Library, FUNAAB. The carrels are located on the upper floor of the University Library and would be available for use between 9 am and 8 pm, from Monday to Friday. The maximum length of tenancy for the carrels is six weeks and is renewable only once.
