Abstract
Participation of contract farmers in Agroforestry Technology Transfer is a way of making technologies more successful, especially for minimizing the dual problems of environmental damage and soil degradation.

This study examined the level of participation of Contact farmers regarding transfer of Agroforestry Technologies in Ekiti State Southern, Nigeria.  Data were collected from (40) Contact farmers in Ekiti State Agricultural Development Projects (EKSADP) extension villages through interview guide.  The study established that majority of the respondents (90%) are males.  Large proportions (67.5%) are within the ages of 30-50 years.  The mean age of respondents is 41 years.  Most of them (85%) had former education and they are mainly arable crop farmers is (75%).
