COVID-19: FUNAAB Complies with FG Directives

In line with the Federal Government directives that all tertiary institutions should close academic activities, as part of measures to curtail the spread of the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic, FUNAAB Management has directed members of the University community to stay at home.

The University Management, in its bid to prevent the spread of the virus, has engaged the expertise of the FUNAAB medical team in creating awareness through different channels. It also encouraged maintaining of social distance between people, provided hand sanitisers, water and soap for washing hands at entry points to all offices thereby making it mandatory for any staff, who has any reason to be on campus, to wash and sanitise his/her hands before going, and leaving their offices.

Meanwhile, the University has been commended by the Ogun State Ministry of Health for its promptness and efforts at creating awareness on the prevention of COVID-19. The commendation was contained in a letter signed by the state Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker to FUNAAB 89.5FM, which has been at the forefront of creating awareness through its array of enlightening programmes.
