Season’s Greetings

Published On:

April 24, 2020

The Vice- Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Professor Felix Kolawole Salako, felicitates with the University Muslim Community and other Muslims nationwide for seeing another Holy Month of Ramadan. The VC wishes all faithful to use the Month of Ramadan to intensify prayers to Allah to have mercy on Nigeria and the world at large over the COVID-19 pandemic.

The world needs the divine intervention of God and this is clear to all irrespective of faith. So-called advanced nations are confused just like the so-called undeveloped nation. A mystery offs pandemic us making all to pause all over the world to recognise we must recognise the CREATOR and HIS expectations from mankind.

Please pray for our dear University and country for Allah to make us stronger and better in all ramifications of human existence. Allah should make us discharge our responsibilities with responsible minds.

We are indoors because of a pandemic but our spirit is lifted because Allah is watching over us. Going through our prayers during this Ramadan season, we must thank Him, being merciful at all times. Allah knows why we are going through this moment and has not forsaken us. Let us keep faith.

As always expected, let us show love to the less-privileged. Let us build hope in the hopeless. Let us build a stronger and better nation.

The Vice-Chancellor thanks the University Muslim Community for her prayers. He prays that God shall make the Ramadan period a very fruitful period for all stakeholders in the University. He looks forward to a better, stronger and united FUNAAB Community by the end of the COVID-19 lockdown as we look up to Allah, the most Magnificent and the most Merciful, during this Ramadan period.
