The Deputy Registrar I (Senate and Admissions) of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Dr. Abdussobur Salaam, was the Guest Lecturer at the 5th Annual Registry Lecture of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), held on April 28, 2025.
The Lecture, which took place at the University Auditorium, was themed “The Registry’s Role in Driving Institutional Change: Strategies for Registries to Lead Transformation in University Administration.” It attracted university administrators, registry professionals, and stakeholders from across the country.
Dr. Salaam, the National Vice-President and Chairman of the Western Zone of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), shared deep insights into how Registries can play a central role in institutional transformation through strategic thinking, proactive leadership, and innovation in administrative practices.
Dr. Salaam, also a seasoned administrator and respected thought leader in university governance, highlighted UNILORIN’s commitment to advancing professional development and excellence in university administration, while also underscoring the growing recognition of FUNAAB’s staff as Resource Persons of national relevance.
