The 9th European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) International Conference on Innovations and Interdisciplinary Solutions for Underserved Areas (EAI INTERSOL 2026) is set to begin at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), from November 18, 2026.
The two-day international conference, scheduled to run from November 18 to 19, 2026, would be hosted by the College of Computing Sciences (COLCOMPS) on the University campus, according to a release signed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Oluwasefunmi Arogundade.
Prof. Arogundade disclosed that the conference would bring together researchers, innovators, and development-driven stakeholders from across the globe to explore practical and sustainable solutions to challenges confronting underserved communities. The programme would feature keynote addresses, research presentations, and interactive sessions designed to stimulate knowledge exchange, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving.
She added that experts from academia, industry, and government are expected to participate, offering insights and showcasing innovations capable of driving meaningful societal impact.
The Dean further noted that the conference would provide a unique platform for both global and local engagement, enabling participants to interact with international counterparts, as well as students and communities within Nigeria.
Highlighting the significance of the event, Prof. Arogundade emphasised that hosting the conference aligns with FUNAAB’s commitment to advancing research, promoting sustainable development, and fostering inclusive innovation.
