Easter Message from the Vice-Chancellor

Published On:

April 18, 2022

As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ, I wish the entire community of the Christian faith in the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), a Happy Easter.

Our Lord, Jesus Christ rose from the dead on this day, and the day stands for His victory over death. The triumph of our Lord is widely considered to be God’s plan to save people from sins and wrongdoings. The season is all about the death and resurrection of Jesus.

May the season bring the freshness of spring and the happiness we all crave and yearn earnestly for.

We have a God and Creator who is aware of each and every concern of our hearts. No leader is granted power that is not a part of His plan. No trial is faced that is not allowed for a reason. We can certainly be comforted by our faith, and rely on His words through the scriptures, which assure us that all things are created for the ultimate good of those who love and trust in Him.

We also always endeavour never to take for granted the blessing of each opportunity we’re given to oversee the affairs of our great University. We thank each of the strata of staff for the continued support and loyalty to the system.

I hope you all find a moment over this Easter Holiday to reflect on the blessings in your own lives May we all realize afresh today what His death and resurrection mean for us.

I wish you all a happy Easter filled with moments of celebration and love.

Let us come together to pray to the Lord for lasting peace in our University and happiness in everyone’s lives.

May the risen Lord breathe in our minds.

Happy Easter!
