Guest speaker, Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi has charged the final year students of the University to expand their thinking horizons, be bold to lay hold on the future and be ready to dare the world with new inventions”.

She encouraged the graduating students, charging them that their future is NOW!, and not tomorrow, urging them to take charge of the opportunities coming across their path and emphasized the need to have a vision, and not limit their opportunities.

Dr. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi concluded her Lecture by urging the students to search vigorously for opportunities and remain committed.

The Dean of College of Agricultural Management and Rural Development (COLAMRUD), Professor Adewale Dipeolu on his part charged the students to be up and doing in all things, declaring, “If it is to be, it is up to me”, which was equally echoed by all students.

Earlier, the Head of Department, AE & RD, Professor Olubunmi Ashimolowo encouraged the students to pay rapt attention to the world of opportunity to be offered by the Valedictory Lecturer and other resource speakers.

The programme had a panel session tagged, “The Brand “You”. The panel members consisted of four (4} resource persons.

The Programme ended with gift presentation to the invited guests, followed by group pictures and dance session.
