As examinations approached at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), the Dean, College of Biosciences (COLBIOS), Prof. Iyabode Kehinde, acting on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde on January 10, 2025, organised a thoughtful initiative to support indigent students.
Held at the Student Affairs Office, Unity Building, the event featured the distribution of food packages containing nutritious items like spaghetti, garri, groundnut oil and more. Addressing the students, Prof. Kehinde said, “On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, we want to support you during this stressful period. Your well-being matters to us.”

Prof. Kehinde personally handed out the packages, offering words of encouragement to uplift the students. Grateful recipients described the gesture as a powerful reminder of the University’s care and commitment to their success.
The initiative not only nourished the students but also fostered a sense of community and support.
